Cuervo and Margarita

I have never seen anything like these two. They want to play so bad, but it is difficult.
No worries Rita was fine in the end.

Our heeler cross loves to hang out with Gracie. They play just like this. Gracie also grooms Casey like she would groom a horse.

very odd, I wonder if it is a heeler thing? I have never seen anything like it. My heeler puppy (Rita) leaps into the air at the horses faces licking and nipping, and my three are somewhat OK with it, particularly Cuervo (the colt) MY friend rode her filly over to visit the other day and the dang puppy starting leaping at her face for kisses and she just about lost it. .. that's what worries me now

Sweet video.  As I watched, I was wondering whether the dog had any concept that one of those hoofs could come down on her and really hurt.  Then ... what to my wondering eyes should appear?  LOL  Glad she was okay.  It might make her more cautious.

What a cute video,

Lou will lick Chester but the mares want to "kill" him most of the time.'

When I had my TWH and my Great Dane, the horse would lick and lick the Dane's back and the Dane would stand there just loving it.

Very cute.  My little healer cross and new mule baby seem to be great friends.  One chases then the other. Kota stands on two legs and walks with the mule.  Sometimes she even puts paws on him. Its all fun and games until mom gets tired of the pup. But Kota is pretty fast so far. I hope they stay friends but won't hold my breath with him being part donkey.

It is funny my little heeler is just a menace with the other horses, always trying to "heel" them with nips. I am surprised that one of the big horses hasn't kicked her head off yet, but she doesn't heel Cuervo. He is her buddy.
