I finally got to meet Debra from Crest Ridge today! She came to my place in Michigan.
 I had made an appointment with her to evaluate a saddle that I had considered selling a few years ago but still had. It's a Circle Y High Horse square skirt. And she determined that it fits my new MFT mare, Billie! Yay-I don't have to saddle shop!

I wanted to meet here when she made a trip through the carolinas - I hear such good things about her company/saddle fitting etc.

Hi back to Deb.  Not only is she an honest person, she is a great teacher.  I spent several years learning everything I could about saddle fitting I could from Deb when I first started my tack shop.  And yes, if a customer already has a good fitting saddle, that is precious.

The saying in my tack shop.  You can have a $50 saddle.  If it fits your horse and you, it is priceless.  You can have a $5000 saddle, if it doesn’t fit your horse, it is worthless.

She told me that she does educational group saddle fittings and back mappings while also taking custom orders. Auditors pay a fee to attend and learn. So, I think I will bring this up in our Foxtrotting Horse association to do next year when she swings through Michigan.
