Best place to get rope halter and lead rope???
« on: June 03, 2020, 10:08:30 am »

What's the best place to get a new rope halter and lead rope?  Someone walked off with Strider's and left their crappy one in its place.  The barn owner knows who took it, but has been unable to get it returned.  I am looking for yacht rope or similar.  The feed stores around me are low on stock.

Personally, I really like Parelli rope halters. I think they are the best out there. Soft, several color choices and extremely durable. Parelli Halters

If you want a more economical choice, Sunset Halters are good.  Sunset Halters

IMO, stay clear of Clinton Anderson halters. Way too stiff. Never offer proper release. To be avoided always.

Thank you NoBite for the link to Sunset Halters!  i have purchased from them before a few years ago but couldn't remember their name and now have a different computer.  I really liked the quality of what I got.

Same here! Good quality at a reasonable price. You're welcome.
