One foal; 3 to go.

My mare, Southforty Simply Perfection and my stallion Blue Knight welcomed a beautiful grullo colt Friday, June 8, 2018.  This boy has markings like you wouldn't believe.  If I can send someone pics to post I could do that.  I am not able to post from here; never have figured a site out that I could use.  Not the best with that kind of stuff.

Well, look at that!!!! It looks like he may have zebra stripes on his legs and a shoulder stripe. (Does he?) I think primitive markings are so cool!

Many photo updates will be needed for this one! I'll bet somebody snaps him up quickly unless you decide to keep him.

yes he has zebra stripes down all 4 legs and major shadowing on his shoulders.  Also the nice dun stripe down his back. I will not keep him; if he had been a filly I would have for breeding in the future.  He is for sale; I have had a lot of inquiries but no takers yet.  Not worried though; I love playing with them.

Oh he is so gorgeous! Only sell him to someone with the requirement to send pictures as he grows.  I so would love to see what he looks like when he's a big guy.

Yes for sure.  Most of the ppl I sell to are really good about keeping in touch thank goodness.  I love to see them grow- I have an album of all my babies and I add pics to it as they grow.

Hi Kim,  You have a RARE little fella there.  Hope you keep him  long time and send us updates every week so we can watch him grow!
I would keep him and not sell till THE PERFECT PERSON comes along! By then you'd be so in love with him that selling him would be out of the question!

Thanks!  He is perfect and is such a sweet, shy boy so far.  No, he will be for sale as I would hate to have to cut him; he is that nice.  I can only have my one guy on site; don't have room for 2.  But I have been really lucky in the new owners that buy my foals.  I think all of my rockies that have sold I am in touch with the owners; I have a few that I don't hear from that bought a few of my paints early on but just 1 or 2 of them.  I am keeping one filly I think.  Hubby isn't too happy about it but we will see.  I may have to sell one of my older mares not sure yet.  Hubby may make me if I keep the filly, lol

Got my color results back on my other colt; he is a blue roan.  Knew he was either blue roan or black and he was more a brown color when born so wasn't sure.
