KMSH Colt-New pic 7-17-2014

This is our new KMSH colt that foaled May 30 in the morning.  I got to the barn around 7 am to check on her and he was partly dry, she was up and about and hollering for grain!  Took him a little bit to get his legs but when he did get up, he went straight to the milk.  No hesitation at all.  He is going to be a dark chocolate with a very light mane/tail.   These were taken the 1st day out of the stall when he was 3 days old.

wow what a beautiful little fella.!!!!His moma is gorgeous as well.You have such nice babies,thanks for sharing them.

Thanks, I will have to put up new pictures.  This boy is so pretty and is very photogenic!  I also have a good video of him gaiting!

Thanks!  And I just got a really good surprise out of my filly.  We thought she was chocolate but she is now 2 months old and is shedding off roan.  Don't know if she will be choc roan or blue roan but I am so excited!  We had bred mare to a blue roan in hopes of a roan but saw no indication at birth so I am beyond excited now!    I won't be selling her now!  She will be a keeper.

Thanks everybody!  I really like the looks of him.  He just has a "look" to him that some of the others haven't had.  You always notice him in the field.  He is a stinker! lol

he has great conformation so far....nice legs and knees, well built rump, nice headset... I think he is not going to just be cute, but also very handsome as an adult...I see what you mean about "that look"...my Sydney has it, that something you can't quite place but makes them stand out so much.


Congrats on your baby, he is awesome....now I'm looking for photos of the filly born in may, but can't find them??
