He is doing AWESOME. We haven't gotten much saddle time because sadly my saddle does not fit him. He's so well trained but he started trying to run out from under the saddle when I'd put it on his back - I know that's not him. Our last ride was in early September. I ordered a custom saddle for him by Allegany Mountain Trail Saddles (https://www.trailridingsaddles.com/). It should be done hopefully in the next week or two! Sad because riding season is pretty much over.

I have been riding him bareback in our indoor arena and he's been doing well with that, considering he has never been ridden bareback before I bought him. He's an awesome horse although a little bit of a butthead here and there (he likes to run from me! and also doesn't understand mounting blocks, lmao).

Overall, he's awesome. He's sweet and well tempered, calm and willing. Super smooth to boot. I really like him and I hope we have many years together :)

I do like his conformation.  Looks like a “built like a tank” horse.

He's actually pretty tiny! Very short backed and not super wide. But he's definitely a mountain goat - he'll go anywhere I point him!

Very cute guy, he sounds wonderful. My first thought was strawberry roan based on his coloring/mane. Whatever he is, he sure sounds like a keeper, congrats!
