Corona Virus in Mass
« on: August 03, 2018, 01:27:16 pm »

A QH that attended a show at Eastern States grounds died a couple of days after the show.  The upshot is shows being cancelled, the grounds are under quarantine until the state says it's safe.

This venue is the largest one in New England most of the large shows are held here.  It is a blow for sure.

It's best to be safe with Corona virus.  A friend of mine lost one of her horses when it went through my area a few years ago.

I am not showing in that arena until the end of October.  Maybe not even then if horses get sick in the meantime.  There are some huge events set to go there including what is called the New England Fair, called Eastern States Exposition, big event last for a couple of weeks.  We do not at that event as it is expensive and miserable to get in and out of.

I just hope no more horses get sick or die.

It was just announced that Mass Morgan has cancelled their show at W. Springfield next weekend due to the fact that the state of Mass will not release the facility as safe.

They have 6 weeks to get it all fixed before the Big E.
