Lower Gap Trail

There is a locally popular trail called the One Horse Gap. If you come to this part of the Forest, you need to ride the Gap! It is a very narrow crevice and resulting trail that goes up between the boulders for about 30 yards or so. It's one of those deals where you do it and then say you've got the T-shirt! (In fact, some places do sell t-shirts that say you've ridden the Gap!)  But, below the Gap there is a trail that is less well discussed, but is very pretty, the Lower Gap Trail. Last Saturday four of us rode that trail a bit. I took a few videos and merged them into this montage to give a bit of the flavor of this ride.

Been there -- done that.  It's really neat and you'd better pull your feet out of the stirrups and raise them up!
