WOW!!!  Stay safe.
Beautiful here in the high 50s with sun and NO wind.  HOWEVER, tomorrow sleet, rain and could be snow and I have a clinic and open barn up in Mass at the trainers.

It's the same storm that you are getting just a different form.  yuck for sure.

Well, we are at 41 outside, but it is a windy cold 41.  We took the horses down the road to a borrowed pasture we use, and they where thrilled to get out of the paddock area and be able to move around and pick at what little grass there is from last year and some greening up this year.  But they are 4 happy horses.

We had great riding weather yesterday, in the 80s.  Snuff got his first bath since last fall. He was so dirty my friend pitched in to help me wash all that deep dirt out which flowed in wave after wave off his body.  I didn’t have time to do his face because I had to pick up dad for church. I figured I’d bring a cloth today, get some warm water and gently take my time washing his face.

Well, that was yesterday. Today it’s very cold, gray and windy. No face washing happening here.  His body is glowing. Mane and tail are so pretty. Face is filthy!!  Looks like a mismatched horse out there. 😆

After 13 inches of snow, 8 foot drifts, the flood for today was recinded.  Only to predict 3 more inches of snow on Wednesday.

I have reservations to camp in Shawnee National Forest in 6 weeks.  I just cannot imagine....
