Heated hose review.
« on: April 12, 2018, 07:26:51 pm »

Just want to say I bought a K&H heated hose on sale on Chewy.com this winter. Best investment ever! No sore shoulders or neck pain. I leave it plugged in all the time and it hasn't frozen. The end pieces gather some ice, but I hold them in my hand a minute and good to go. Wish I bought one years ago. I

I actually bought one of those expandable/shrinking hoses this winter (to clean kennels) and it's AWESOME!!  I put quick connects on it, use it, then disconnect and drain as I put it in a little bucket and bring it indoors.  I read that they only last one season, but the one I bought survived the winter, and at $35 for a 75' hose, I can keep an extra on hand in the event it breaks.

I kept thinking how much easier it would have been to fill water troughs with it in the winter.

yes I have a couple of those - they are very delicate but if kept out of the sun and unhooked from the faucet after every use they can last longer - I have one in my horse trailer too
