And then there were 4...hopefully
« on: April 01, 2018, 05:37:33 am »

The deed is finally done.  The weather is starting to improve here in the Northeast, so yesterday morning we dropped HayBale aka Bailey off with Nola at Ro-No Ranch to be sold on consignment.   She breeds and shows pasos, and seems to sell bunches of horses on consignment, so people go to her for gaited horses in the area.  She's also very involved in Cowboy Mounted Shooting competition, and since Bailey has been squirrel hunting and coon hunting, and had a shotgun fired off his back AND is a field trial horse, so has had blank pistols fired around him, he'd probably make a pretty good mounted shooting horse.

If anyone is looking for a really nice trail pony, you can find him there.

I told Nola he was too good of a horse to be passed around like he's been, and it's most important that he lands somewhere that could be permanent this time.
Fingers crossed that he finds the perfect home...quickly!

For sure someone will be getting a really nice little horse.  I saw him last Fall at the Trial in Conn.  I hope he finds his forever home.

We have about 5 inches and it's still snowing here with the sun trying to get out.  Weather guy is saying another hour or so.  I am hoping to go to the barn tomorrow.

The good thing is it won't last long.  My flowers are buried in the white stuff.
Rain will be in here tomorrow night into Wed for most of the day.
