Anyone Wear Blundstone Boots?
« on: March 24, 2018, 09:12:21 am »

I've given up on Ariat Terrains and have been thinking of trying a pair of Blundstones.

Does anyone have any experience with these?
Does anyone know if there's usually a Blundstone vendor at Equine Affaire OH?

I do and I LOVE them.  They are very well made and of excellent waterproof leather. I like them for me because the have a wide toe box.  Plenty of room.  I highly recommend them  Gave up on Ariats a long time ago.

Anyone who tries these on....I want a sizing review.  My problem with the Ariat Terrains is they are now too wide and no amount of pulling the laces tight will make them fit.
But I do like the looks of these as a replacement for Terrains.
I do like the twisted X ankle boots, but after one year they are coming apart.

I bought a " used" pair. Must have been tried on . Have worn riding one time so far. No spur rest. Very soft leather.

These are my go to riding boots.  I think they are unisex sized? Go by their sizing chart.  I bought style 550. They are big enough I can wear a heavy sock.

I know a lot of people in our area have them and really like them.  My next pair to try after my Ariats are done.

I did not find Blundstone boots at Equine Affaire, but I found these, tried them on, walked around a bit and they felt really good, so I bought a pair. We'll see how they hold up.

I forgot to add, I also tried on an Ariat version of these and they were stiff and uncomfortable around my ankle.

Can I have a detailed review of the toe box on your foot?

Cyd, I have a pair of those also.  I find them a little too narrow in the toe.  They are almost identical to the blundstone boots.

AHA!  That in the info I need.  Ariat Terrains have changed, and aside from being poorer quality, are also TOO WIDE.
This tells my I would prefer the ones Cyd bought.
Thank you thank you.

My foot is fairly wide across the toes and these are just right. I tried them with medium-weight cotton socks, which are the heaviest I would wear for summer riding. The Ariats were wider in the toe box, but stiff and slightly tight around the ankle.

They're UK (not Euro) sized. I wear a 5.5.
