Savanah Rose is on meds now , but primarily blood thinners and anti platelets.
She'll have be having catheter surgery to hopefully remove all or part of the
clot, then it is my understanding they will administer anti-clotting medication
into and around the clot to help dissolve anything left. She'll have an incision
cut high on the inside of her right hind leg. A catheter inserted into her femoral
artery and work it through to her iliac vein where the clot is. About 2 1/2 to 3
feet from what I understand.

We'll know a lot more when we arrive and talk to the surgeons next weekend.

After a 10 hour drive with a few stops along the way we arrived at CSU Veterinary Hospital.
What a spectacular facility. A veterinary nurse and 4th year large animal vet school student
( she'll graduate in May ) were there to meet us.

Surgery this Wednesday the 10th. We meet the surgeon and other doctors tomorrow.
Very nervous and excited.

Thanks for all the prayers.

One thing I wish this forum software had is a "like" button.

What a relief to have been greeted in such a kind manner:)

Heartfelt prayers coming your way:)
