Sidepulls
« on: December 14, 2017, 09:05:02 pm »

Some time ago, there was a thread about sidepulls. There was one in particular that came in a multitude of colors and color combinations. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Also, if I’m not mistaken, in that same thread, Kysa provided instructions on how to make your own sidepull.

Thanks in advance for any help!

That would be the old board, but I will see if I can find it.  Unfortunately, my instructions were hosted at photobucket, so they will not be visible.  But I will see if I can redo the instructions later today.  I keep the parts for a quick side pull in my saddlebags, in case some ever breaks a bit, or has a problem.  You need two chin straps and 4 rings, and then the headstall You already have.

Thank you, Kysa! I appreciate you trying to find it. If not, no worries, I just remember it being an informative thread.

I have a sidepull made of multiple colors I used on my Peruvian 5-6 years ago. I bought it off eBay years ago. Still got it. Hoping to use it on Jex one day.

WhyKnot rope halters (I think this is what it is called)  Has a few different kinds of side pulls, halters, reins, and lead ropes - many different colors to choose from - all hand made by order.  I have one side pull and am going to order another soon.
