I looked at it online ...  to get it deeper you have some more complicated things to do so I went with a DP waterer which, fingers crossed, has been working really well

I like it, but need more reviews.  So in lieu of the square paddle, you can get a rounded paddle?

I use the smaller paddle because I like to be able to get my fingers under it to clean around.   The way it was described to me is the wider paddle is for horses that don't learn as fast  - so for a time I had the wider paddle on it for my  short yellow bus horses.
