Not sure how long this ad will be up, but I thought this guy did a pretty clever thing. Check out the plastic playhouse hay feeder LOL

That's funny.  I looked at kids playhouses before I bought a hay hut.  boy the playhouses were expensive too.

Nelda, you need to go over there and buy all that stuff and trailer, load in trailer and take home.  I would if I was closer.

;)  Yep--if we lived closer (and could afford to) I'd seriously be considering offering a package price for the whole works.

It is quite a way from here. I thought about it, but I don't have the time or the money right now

I love the house idea!  My friend just bought one of those Hay Hut's and they cost $750.00.  Are the houses cheaper?  Lynchburg isn't too far from me.

I actually looked at a couple and they were expensive and I didn't think they'd hold up to horses (not mine anyway) plus I use round bales so I needed to be able to either flip it over or something to get the hay in it.  I ones I looked sort of popped together at the joints.  This one being used might be just the answer to try if it's cheap enough.   I really want another hay hut but $700+ is hard to swallow.
