More info on Paddock Paradise/track pastures
« on: July 14, 2014, 07:39:20 am »

I have been thinking on adding or incorporating a track into our property.  I have a lot of questions and quite honestly, I would like to have a good plan in order before I go ahead and start and feel, "I wish I would have done this...".  Anyone that has one, could you share how large it is, what type of area you live in, what you used, ect.  The area that I would be looking to use would be about 5 acres.  I have 3 horses- Lady our really old, skinny KMH mare that is doing just fine on grass, our 16 yr old Racking horse gelding that has also been doing fine on grass and my little 10 yr old Peruvian that began to show alittle soreness after being on grass, so I took her off and now just gets multiple slow feed hay nets all around the dry lot while others are on grass.
I would like to hear people's experiences and what they used.....
I will take some pictures of the area and post....
Frenesi- Peruvian mare
Mister- Racking gelding
Lady- Kentucky Mt mare
